Support the Jimmy Fund at no cost when you stay at the Loon Chalet

We're supporters of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the work they do for kids facing cancer. And we have a special offer for our guests. Make a gift to the Jimmy Fund when you book your vacation with us, we'll take the amount of your gift off your total rental rate.

The Details

You may deduct up to $25 per night, to a maximum of $100. You'll pay less for your vacation, reduce the 9% lodging tax (a few bucks) and you get the tax deduction for your gift (a few more bucks). And we both get a great feeling knowing that together we have helped a great cause. ("Priceless", as the saying goes.)

Make a gift to Dana Farber after we agree on a stay at the Loon Chalet and provide proof of the gift. (You do not send us your money. It goes straight from you to Jimmy.) If you don't know anyone participating in a Jimmy Fund event, you might consider supporting our walk. The administrative advantage is that we receive notification directly from Dana Farber when you make your gift, so showing proof of your gift is automatic.

Why?

Why do we do this? Because we like guests who like to share, and we hope that those guests will like what we do for the Jimmy Fund. If we can get one more guest each season who wants to chose our home to support the Jimmy Fund, it makes it all worthwhile. So, let's do some good together.

Our Walk

2011 will be our second year supporting the Jimmy Fund. Thanks to the generosity of friends and guests, in 2010 we raised just under $2000.
